Brexit, though


Yes, Brexit.

It's been eating away at us, wearying us. But we have to stay strong.

For those of us who voted Remain, let's keep signing things, going on marches, talking to each other.

For those of us who voted Leave (?) we could have a chat about that, if you like. You're probably not very happy either.

This thread is just a general rant/moan space for those who wish it.

My confession:

I did a bit of stockpiling. Not much, but enough to get through a couple of months if needs be. I kept it down to staples that are either fresh food or definitely not made in the UK:

- Coffee (the idea of Brexit without daily coffee is inconceivable)

- Almonds

- Kale in the freezer

It's probably pointless, sure. But it gives me that tiny feeling of doing something, anything, to prepare. I grew up in a country with 5AM bread queues and I know bad times can happen to countries where you never thought it would.

How's you with Brexit? Do you follow the news every day? Or just think fuck it?
