New muffin

Hi,

My name's Liz, I'm a high school student, 16, and living in Australia. Apparently I'm new - I honestly hate being new to forums, etc. but I suppose we all have to start somewhere.
I consider myself fairly open-minded and I am more of a listener than a talker (I'm rather shy, it's something I'm working on). I have an interest in the 'Gothic' subculture. I by no means consider myself Gothic, however, I'm drawn to many aspects of the culture such as the music and aesthetic. My musical tastes are broad and includes genres such as darkwave, deathrock, metal, industrial, but also some things on the other side of the spectrum such as pop and rap.

Anyhow, I joined this forum (and site) to meet new people and learn more about a range of topics. So, as stated earlier in the post... 'Hi' biggrin

Whereabouts in Oz do you live? I used to live in the Sutherland Shire (nr Sydney). Also... Wollongong.... But we don't talk about that!
