I am having a really bad speed comedown.
It's not nice.
I have jelly legs, bitchyness, and general bad feelings.
I've so far managed to terrify my boyf, snap at almost everyone, etc.

Urgh.
The high wasn't worth it, really.

No its not. I used to love getting high on that stuff, but the comedowns just werent worth it. Id feel sick and unable to eat, unable to sleep and couldnt walk really. Thats why i dont take it anymore.

Comedowns scare me which is why I never ever took anything, even though I have been offered. :S

I had a really bad experience off speed and would never touch it again. I used to take it quite a bit, but when I went to see Prodigy live in Newcastle, I'd taken a gram of Base. I was fine til I came out of the gig, but the bus journey back to Leeds was a nightmare! I kept getting major cramp in my legs and feet and really bad sickness. I felt crap for about 48hours. All I could do was mong on the sofa and try smoke weed to make me feel better :( Not good

I've never tried speed, I don't know enough about it to give a go yet...I try to be informed about all substances I have taken :D

I don't really have an urge to try anything but weed since they all seem to have extra suckyness. I have never had a comedown so can't really join in here.

Poor you! Speed was the one drug I decided 100% against, in the end. The up was lovely but the down was hours and hours of 'hang on babe till it's over'.

Don't they cut it with all kinds of shit before selling it?

Just pondering if that have something to do with bad after effects.

I've never tried actually, I guess I should get around to it someday. But like Frank I like to do extensive research first and somehow I can never muster up enough enthusiasm for it.

Also, it would be a hassle to get hold of the stuff. Ah well, some day if the stars will it so.

They do, but some of the time what they cut it with is a cheap neutral base that shouldn't make any difference, like talcum powder. Which is bad, because you're getting less of the drug you paid for - and, in fact, can't be entirely sure what you're getting, which is the real problem with drugs being bulked out by an unknown commodity - but not necessarily physically any worse for you. Depends what they cut it with.

I just think speed has a rep for pretty sucky comedowns. I won't be touching it again.

most of the people i know that do speed usually have a couple of good spliffs saved and some valium handy, make sure they have sugary tea, and just kotch in a big pile under the duvet with obscure russian cinema to keep them distracted, possibly with no sound and something to listen to like trentmoller or moderat for those who still need some music but are wanting to wind down.

Never liked speed much. First time I took it I thought it wasn't going to have any effect - until I'd left the party, gone home to go to bed and then realised that I was absolutely buzzing and I ended up sitting chatting to my flatmates for ages!

Much preferred pills.

Speed was one of the very first drugs I tried, I thought It was ok, until one day I just burst into tears at school in front of everyone for no reason at all (I never cry or really show any emotion in public- so this was weird) I had to make up a pretend reason for crying etc...
I stoped after that.

I do love the whole buzz you can get from it, but it's the shitty comedowns and the way I used to go absolutely nuts when I'd had far too much. There's no way I'd take it again like, but it is nice with green as well.

i find the my speed comedowns are great for car long jouneys, i just sit with my headphones in glad not to be doing anything else! but ive got trapped in nasty cirle before, of taking more and more to releave each comedown, i strongly advise against using this method of releaving the comedown however tempting. it got me into pretty bad crap. however i still enjoy the occasional line.
