Oooh, sounds like you've bought a wonderful scrapbook! I love you, cinnamonstars. :)
Anywhoo, I'll begin "operating" from my UK address on Friday. This might make things easier (transport-wise) so I think I'll try to talk to my parents again and ask if I could give out my address. If that fails, could I send my contributions to someone while I'm in the UK as it would keep the costs down? I'll be there for almost three weeks so there's no hurry.

Take it to the post office, say "I'd like to send this first class please" and then they'll tell you to put it on the little scales and you will unless you like anarchy. Then they'll print off a little label and you'll slide the book under the thing or maybe go to the end if it's too big for under the thing. Then they'll stick the little label to the book and then you pay and you can leave.
It's a delightful process.

Guys, I'm putting together the last bits of my pages so I can send it on, but I just thought it would be really nice for the book to have a cover. I don't trust my own art skillz for the purpose, so if I send it on with a blank cover would someone like to volunteer to do a cover?

Count me in, I had some internet problems over the last few weeks but I'm here and I'll send my contribution to someone who'd be willing to stick my bits'n'pieces in the book. If that would be too complicated (what if my stuff doesn't reach that "someone" in time?) I could also send everything to cinnamonstars when the book finishes its grand tour.
I think I'll probably have everything printed, designed and packed by the end of next week so I can send it off on, say, Friday.

Also another dense question. In relation to the sending of the Mookbook:
Does one wrap it themselves to be taken to the post office or does the lady behind the desk do it for you? And does it have to be that brown paper? I'm so confuzzled about the British postal service and how it works...

You have to wrap it. It doesn't have to be brown paper, but plain is better because then they can read the address.
