And port. I've started drinking port. Why? I do not know, it's good shit though.

I'm quite partial to vodka. It's the only thing that I think tastes okay when I have it straight. Plus, my tolerance for it is now so good I can have a shot that is half a plastic cup, thereby beating all the males I know =) I also like it mixed, with something sweet and fizzy, preferably.

Beer is what I drink during the day, or when I'm out to dinner with my parents.
Southern Comfort is quite good straight also.
And I had a Toblerone the other day, and decided that it was my kind of cocktail, and I need to go to that restaurant more often (their bar is quite good).

I absolutely love Sailor Jerry rum, mmm. My current favourite.
Morgan Spiced, Southern Comfort, Zubrowka Bison Grass vodka (very different flavour from any other vodka I've tasted, lovely), and Absolut (particularly Vanilia, Raspberri and Pears, so far).
Hate beer, and just beginning to come around to wine. Sort of. I don't like most ciders, but I really like Kopparberg.
I looove cocktails. My favourite is probably the Polish Bullet at Revolution (Zubrowka, honey vodka and apple juice). They describe it as 'liquid apple strudel', and that's it exactly. Also Del Boy (pina colada kind of flavour; vodka, pineapple juice, blue curacao and coconut liqueur), tastes like being on holiday somewhere hot and beachy. I love a nice French martini too.

I have just discovered the joys of Red-Headed Sluts and Alabama Slammers. Don't remember what went into either, but they were gooood. I'll probably post more new favorites tomorrow night after the New Year festivities. Whoo.

i dont really drink much alchohol now....i used to though but it caused alot of trouble with me.
it may sound weird...but i dont drink beer...insted i drink cider coz i love the taste alot more and i can drink it alot easier too haha

I drink cocktails a lot, even at home, though my particular poisons are vodka and absinthe. Vodka I can knock back til the cows come home, and absinthe has been quite the torrid love affair ^^; It gives me giggle fits.

Though most of the time when I'm drinking at home now that summer has hit, I just drink pineapple juice and coconut rum. It's a nice way to wind down after a long day in retail

Margeritas, esp. with chilled lime. Vodka with cranberry juice and seltzer water. I have yet to try absinthe but always wanted to. Whiskey too.

I got drunk on absinthe once and lost my voice for three days. Happy times...

I totally agree. If i'm drinking for confidence or to get drunk (as we all do sometimes no doubt) then vodka.
If not, then Sambuca with lemonade.

Archers and lemonade, and then after you've drunk half the bottle of archers, moving onto straight archers :)

If I can't have that I'm a vodka and (it works i promise) fanta fruit twist kind of girl. Also good for festivals or gigs as looks just like fanta in the bottle. Mwahahaha.

I like beer, heineken, stella, or fosters are the ones I prefer to drink

ohhh and i also like this amazing vodka milkshake you can get from like asda or morrisons, the strawberry flavour is so nice. with ice, it's like you're drinking an actual milkshake. which is lethal. haha

Guinness or Murphy's is my drink of choice, closely followed by Fruli, then Kronnenburg pear cider, then Staropramen. I also really like weird flavoured vodkas, but I only ever buy them at the Polish vodka bar in Holborn, hidden in an alleyway. ("Why does this one cost more than all the others?" "It has gold leaf in it." "Awesome! Three shots!") This is also the place where I drunkenly asked the barkeep what the Polish would recommend drinking with blue almond vodka. He smiled and said, "You English all think I'm crazy when I suggest it, but we drink it with milk." I babbled on about how ethnically I was excluded from 'you English', ordered a milk mixer, and never looked back.

There is a glorious sweet dark Czech beer I drank all the time whilst I was with Equilateral in Prague, but I've forgotten what it was. If I could find it in England, I'd have it put into my veins.

I can only drink absinthe if I'm allowed to mix it myself.

I like heavy red wines, particularly Merlot (heh heh). I can't stand white. I don't understand rose.

I like ale, but I only really drink it when I'm up the Malverns (Equilateral is packed off there by the MOD every summer).

I also like drinking Amaretto on the rocks in certain bars. Everyone assumes I've got whisky and it tastes like dessert.

Clockbox, I don't understand rose either. I used to really like white wine but after too many bad experiences it just tastes like piss to me now and makes me feel sick, as for red wine I've never liked it, so a rose is like mixing cement and milk together and drinking it for me :D haha

I love red wine, it's the greatest wine in the world.

Unfortunately, I'm too unpredictable on it and it gives me the very worst hangovers ever...

My most recent discovery of alcoholic joy is bison grass vodka and apple juice. It's like drinking apple pie.

Laphroaig single malt quarter cask is my preciousss. (I brought my bottle of it to the new years party, interviewing everyone about their relationship to whisky to check if they were worthy of the gift of tasting it. Noone were.)

I like a lot of different types of alcohol, but drinking scottish single malts is a holy ritual.

That vodka is wicked! Someone brought some to a party I had once, and I think that was the drink that got me totally smashed. I had to go and have a lie down about 10.30 lol its got a really nice taste to it too. Another one I quite like is Polish vodka. Fucking lethal.

I'm going to a Burns Party tomorrow night. You know, Rabbie Burns, the Scottish poet. And we all eat Haggis and drink whiskey and speak with bogus Scottish accents. And it's just good surreal fun.

So I've bought this bottle of special Scotch whiskey called Laphroaig, just to test it for the party you understand, and over the last couple of nights I've managed to empty half the bottle. It's very lovely though: all warm and smoky and peaty.

And when it's finished, I won't touch whiskey again till next year.

I can drink beer if there's nothing else. I used to be in the middle of a passionate love affair with Baileys but it made me too fat. The only thing I can't drink is Malibu after one fateful New Years...

blue wkd is nice. But I drank a load one nigth among other things and when I was sick it was bright blue! Nice!

Bubblegum vodka shots from Revolution are gorgeous. Coloured vom is not. Once after a heavy night on the Jacques Fruit Cider I puked up all pink, lovely.

I've kind of been trained by the boys I hang out with to drink my alcohol straight, so no fancy girly drinks for me. Vodka is definitely my favorite, closely followed by my deal old friend the Captain. I'm also a fan of white wine; I would be having a glass with dinner every once in a while if my parents would actually let me. Actually, if my DAD would let me. My mum's totally fine with it, but he seems to think that giving me a tiny glass of wine will turn me into a drunken whore.

Has anyone ever heard of Squashed frogs? Or CS Cowboys/Cowgirls? I absolutely love all three of those;

In the Frogs; Midori, triple sec, grenadine and Baileys - all layered to look like, well, a squashed frog!

In the (cock sucking) Cowboys; 3/4 Butterscotch schnapps, 1/4 baileys,

and the Cowgirls; 3/4 Peppermint schnapps, 1/4 baileys.

All of the above are served in shot form. Half a dozen of one of them and you're good to go.

AND!! I havent been able to find it anywhere here (in the UK), but Honey Vodka. Its sold under the Medos brand and its polish. It tastes like caramel and when mixed with sprite takes on a ginger/caramel taste. I cant (couldnt!) get enough of it.

Has anyone ever seen it in stores here in the UK? I've looked all over but so far I've had to settle for Raspberri Absolut Vodka..


I also drink pints with a shot of vodka in them - its not to everyones taste, but its effective.

I really like Jameson Irish whiskey, but it doesn't like me very much! So tend to stick to vodka and diet coke.

Oh yeah and Zubrowka vodka and Apple juice - it's the business!
