In terms of alcohal, in this case. Just wondering if anyone's got any favorites. Beer, straight hard stuff, mixed drinks; doesn't really matter to me from which you chose :)

A small bottle of Smirnoff is my favorite if I just want a little nip of alcohol after a long day. My top mixed drinks are Tequila Rose and Tokyo Tea.

I'm not much of a beer fan though. Haven't found any that I could drink the rest of my life if I had to make such a choice...

I'm a big fan of spirits.
In particular, I love the odd vit of vodka and gin and tonic.

But my love for alcohol comes in a whiskey shaped bottle. About a year ago, I really got into whiskey. My boyfriend just recently got into whiskey as well.

I also enjoy the very occasional homemade martini, or garron with vodka.

Despite having said all of this, I'm really not a frequent drinker. I drink about once every 2 weeks.
I never enjoyed the taste of beer, and it takes alot for me to enjoy a bottle of wine.

I cannot recommend Morgans Spiced Rum enough.

However, I've decided to not drink again, so it's pleasures are lost to me. But when I did drink, I think it's easier to say that I didn't like sherry or Southern Comfort. Anything else was fair game.

Spirits. I mainly drink vodka, but when Im out is sambuca all the way. And now theyve bought out different flavours, I loooove the raspberry one.

I drink much much wine.
I also enjoy a good beer.

I like beer which most of my friends find confusing. Vodka is my favorite though. And I like rum but I always get bad hangovers from it, so i've basicly given up on it... *sob*

White wine, red wine, rose wine, vodka and orange, amaretto and coke, vodka mudslides, lambrini (but not often) and Bulmers cider.

Basically anything except beer.

Never, ever, snort rum.

It hurts.

How did that little experiment come about?

You're out the back of your house, drinking with your house mates, burning things, and the alcohol is going well. You mention you've snorted vodka and the discussion leads to two of you trying to snort rum.

Mojito is a lovely cocktail: dry and minty. I went to a place in Holland Park in LOndon that does stunning mojitos. The girl behind the bar was toiling away for about 20 minutes to make mine! So it seemed like an insult to her not to get drunk (even though it meant she had to bo it another two times).

i like skys wich is lemon lime and soda mixed with vodka.
I love love Drambuie its aged malt whiskies. Spiced with honey yummmy.

alcopop; wkd red
beer/lager; budweiser/fosters/john smiths
wine; blossom hill white zinfandel rose/jacobs creek sparkling rose

bacardi & coke is fab.

oh & hello apple sours and jagermeister. mmm.

My fave drinks (in no particular order):

• Patron (silver) with a bit of lime
• F***ing Awesome (whole buncha alcohols that taste like fruit punch, aka a Zombie)
• Raspberry Kamakazi (if raspberry is out then Strawberry, Watermelon, Apple ect...)
• Cherry Bomb
• Slippery Nipple
• Mango Rum and Guava Rockstar
• Lagavoulin (i spelled that wrong, I think)
• Washington Apples
• Lambic Framboise (belgin beer that tastes like sorbert)
• Mamosas
• (the wine with the fruit juice and lemons and limes... my brain is missing at the moment i think) Sangria
• Flirtini (vodka, chambord, something, something, and Champagne)
• Amaretto Sours

sorry for my bad spelling... And there are more that I love to drink as well. Just can't think of all of em. But, I like to drink, and I may be in that stage of life where most booze is good booze as long as its booze.

My all time favourite drink has to be bull rushes. Its basically vodka, red bull and absinthe. You get pissed on about 2 of them.

Slippery Nipple! (Sambuca and Baileys).

I'm not too keen on alcohol though. It just isn't my scene. And when I do drink I don't drink to the point where I'm off my head. I like to be in control :)

Yeah same here, but I think thats because when I was a teenager I was kinda borderline alcoholic for a while.

Gin. A gin and lemonade, ice cold, on a hot summer's day is sheer bliss. Apart from when I have three sips and end up all giggly.

I've never been alcoholic or anything like that. I just don't want to embarrass myself infront of everyone and it's not a pretty sight to be falling all over yourself, getting bruised and cut and being sick all over the place.

And you know what really grinds my gears? People who say the only way they can have fun is to have a drink and get pissed!

Yeah that pretty annoys me as well. I learned to have fun down the pub without drinking and smoking when I was pregnant because my baby is more important. I still dont get hammered now because I do all the stuff youve just mentioned. I cant remember half of what Ive done and then Im mortified the next day when everyone tells me what Ive done.

All depends what mood I'm in but here are some of my classics,
Jager and Irn Bru = Lovely hanging with mates drink.
Absinthe = I like the taste and it's a nice thing to get a lil bit silly with.
Jack and diet coke = Has a bit of a kick without knocking me out.
Jager = I don't care who says what it's nice
Vodka and diet coke = Need I explain?
Rum and diet coke = Gives the nice warm feeling plus starts all those ''where's the rum gone?'' jokes.
Cranberry and vodka = Cause it's good for you =p
WKD/VHF = For my inner teen.
Tequila = A great place does flavoured ones.

Am I the only serious beer drinker here? I used to hate it, but once I got into it I absolutely loved it. I really love real ales, my favourite kinds being pale ale, IPA, wheat beers and really dark ales [I don't like lager much at all]. My love is increased by the fact that a) when I'm at home there's a fantastic brewery on my road [Oldershaw's, check it out], b) when I'm in halls there are real ale pubs on both ends of my street, and c) I'm a member of my uni's Brew Team: we do tastings for the local brewery and tell them what we think is good and what isn't, and they brew beers based on it to serve in our union. Last time I helped out they gave me a free keg :D

Favourites would be:
Oldershaw's Decadence
Leffe Blonde
Goose Island IPA
Chimay Blue
Moonshine [I can't remember who makes it, but it's local and very very yummy]
Thornbridge's Jaipur

Besides the slightly poserish [and often very alcoholic] ales etc, I drink Kronenbourg, Becks and Guinness. And besides beer, it's usually the cocktail my friend Josh makes with vodka, blue Curacao and ginger beer. Very blue, very delicious, very alcoholic. I'm also partial to the odd gin and tonic, and I do love rum and coke as well.

Got to love the old vodka and coke, a double of course.
Sambuca.. I love this stuff! Has made me do some stupid things in my time though.
Amaretto and coke.. tastes just like a DR Pepper.. yum!

My friend has his own bar and makes the most amazing cocktails my favourite being a Lemon Cheesecake Martini.. I have no idea what's in it though, It just tastes so good.
Love the cocktails I do!

Capatain Morgan's Spiced Rum-- neat. Good stuff; though, I do like a good hot Toddy or Hot buttered rum once in a while....
